Lack Of Marketing Creativity
Definitively it has become harder and more challenging through-out the years to grasp the attention of consumers due to the vast and growing number of companies which have saturated the market place with their overwhelming bombardment of advertisements. The only thing you can hope for now is try to come up with a viral campaign, a hit of some kind, in a sense the next generation of “iPod” commercials. Sadly enough, there is no easy or sure way to come up with an incredible and super catchy marketing campaign, but here’s a couple of things to keep in mind.
First of all, don’t let fear stand in your way. This is usually the number one cause for stopping companies or individuals dead in their tracks from coming up with great marketing campaigns. Don’t limit yourself due to fear, this will only hurt your marketing campaign. Stay assertive about what you are doing and don’t question yourself, just keep going.
Second and most importantly is imagination, thinking outside-of-the-box. I know you’ve heard this several times before but have YOU ever really tried thinking “out-side-of-the-box”? Everyone is capable of thinking up something remarkable, just believe in yourself and don’t lose focus. Try out several concepts and if those don’t work for you then try out some more, just keep going. Sooner or later it’ll hit you, and by thinking out-side-of-the-box you will come out with a marketing campaign that actually may be unique, radical, and even viral.
Overall, it’s all about letting go and not holding back.
