Mixx, The Next User-Driven Social Content Website
Mixx is led by CEO Chris Mcgill, the former General Manager of Yahoo! News, and VP of Strategy at USA Today. Mixx is focused on becoming the next user-driven social content website in the industry by combining some of the best features from all the top social sites across the web. Key features adapted from strong social sites such as Digg, LinkedIn and My Yahoo!, just to mention a couple of them. The Virginia-based start-up will not be just another Digg clone like most sites out there now, instead they have a different idea and way of how a social news website should function, and by integrating some top-notch social features they may have the key to dominating the social news arena.
Currently Mixx is rounding up emails for a private beta testing which will begin shortly. If you’re interested in trying out a brand spanking new and interesting application such as Mixx, then visit their site and submit your email for a chance at being one of the first to test drive it. For now I leave you with a couple of snapshots as a little sneak peek of the new Mixx application.
