How to Access Blocked Websites, The Simple Way

Proxy PadlockMost corporations, schools, and/or internet cafés are blocking popular websites such as, social networks, gaming and/or torrent sites. The biggest reason is because if you’re at work, you’ll probably spend more time checking out your Myspace or Facebook account rather then actually working. Although you may hear a lot of other reasons, like privacy matters and so on, it all basically boils down to them not wanting you to waste their time.

With that said, the internet loophole for remedying such a situation like this one, is by utilizing an anonymous web-based proxy program. An anonymous web proxy (CGI proxy, HTTP proxy) is designed to bypass proxy restrictions through a web interface, such as your browser. Web proxies hide users identity from the sites they visit, keep cookies at their site, and delete them after each session and selectively remove JavaScript, Java, etc. The server then communicates with the webpage, then communicates with visitor browser. This allows for you to surf the websites you want from virtually anywhere, without the hassle of being blocked.

Below you’ll find a list of proxy sites for your convenience, all you have to do is click on one of them, and once you’re there, just type in to the search box the website you want to visit. Nothing else to it, basically it’s simply browsing a website through another website. Now, there’s allows a chance that you might get caught by your boss, so use the list wisely my young padawan, and at your own risk.

  1. I can just imagine this post getting popular and then tons of kids visiting to learn how to keep IT from blocking their paths. The IT guys would catch on *someday and follow a student’s history - Which of course might lead to your site getting blocked for having this article.

    hehe

  2. Good point, but if they did, someone else would undoubtedly follow and post up their knowledge on bypassing IT blocks on websites. New proxy websites are popping up everyday, and some of them keep buying domain names to make their sites accessible. So I guess it’s just a matter of time before they develop new scripts for IT departments to use, to properly block sites, and even then, loopholes will continue to exist. Best said, it’s simply a race to keep ahead of the game.

  3. As for me, I use the VPN service to unblock sites like BBC and others. http://strongvpn.com/ I bought it just for that, but I found that I can host online games and the connection became faster.
    Hehe :P

I had one question and they answered it quickly and politely. Good stuff especially these days when everyone is just too busy..
Anyway my question was about if they store logs of traffic - and they do not store any logs !! exactly what I wanted.
